With every season comes change
Sometimes the change is physical as the hues of the trees and the leaves fade
It is the Earth as the soil begins it’s hibernation
And even the scent in the air is that of time moving in a new direction, familiar like a face you believe you’ve seen before yet different in its details
A time where both anticipation and hesitation surge through your body, guiding you in the journey
Sometimes the change is mental, a shift in communication, boundaries, behaviors and where you envision yourself
It’s the need to protect and value your peace like riches found deep in the Earth
Like Jade or a Sapphire even Ruby
And in your heart there is a fire that runs ablaze, hot, even electric as self love deepens
It is on those ashes that strength rises giving foundation to your ability to weather the elements of the everchanging season
Sometimes the change is spiritual
As with every breath you sink deeper into the reconnection and recentering of your soul
It is the eye to notice the softest things around even when they appear callous
It’s the pause, the reflection, the slowing of time as your reminded of beauty that you would otherwise overlook
It is knowing you are steady and with every passing moment you must enjoy where you are at – not wishing for a minute more or a minute less
Sometimes the change is you.
Because with every rain drops that falls and brings a new day
Every blow of wind that knocks you off your feet or sends chills down your spine
For very test that brings more frustration than the last
You realize in every way you are strong enough to brave the elements and stand yet another season of change
